We all know of the law school graduate, who was at the "top of
the class," but who failed the bar. Or, the Law Review president,
Dean’s List all three years, but who failed the bar. Sure, they
knew the law, but didn’t bring their "A-game" to the exam.
Why? There are several reasons, or any combination thereof, why
students do not perform well on tests: e.g., test anxiety, pressure,
stress, fear of failing, personal problems, financial problems,
etc.
You could know the law backwards and forwards, but
unless you put that knowledge into your exam test booklet, you
will join the thousands of others that get that dreaded letter
-
"DID NOT PASS."
